曾在柏林公開的獨奏會場合這樣描述著她，甫獲德國國立哈雷馬丁路德大學 (Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg) 最高演奏家文憑 (Konzertexamen, 教育部認可等同博士學位)，師事Prof. Jochen Köhler。
在台學習期間，畢業於國立臺北藝術大學音樂學研究所碩士班，在音樂學術上的訓練使她總是非常認真細膩地鑽研每一部音樂作品，對於每一次的舞台演出總是精益求精。大學畢業後及碩士期間便朝向國際化多元發展，曾至德國參與Oberstdorfer Musiksommer音樂營，接受 Prof. Konrad Elser 指導；以及參與Euro Arts音樂營，接受Prof. Gerald Fauth指導。
2012年與國防示範樂隊合作，為蓋希文 (G. Gershwin)『藍色狂想曲』(Rhapsody in Blue) 管樂協奏曲版之鋼琴獨奏，並同年首度於台北巴赫廳舉辦個人獨奏會，2014年於台北十方樂集音樂劇場舉辦個人售票獨奏會。
2014年底獲得教育部全額公費留學獎學金：音樂類樂器演奏組，於2015年赴德國國立明斯特大學音樂學院 (Musikhochschule Münster) 修讀鋼琴演奏碩士，師事Prof. Clemens Rave，碩士畢業音樂會以「最優異」(sehr gut) 成績畢業。
在德期間曾多次參與獨奏演出、鋼琴合作及國際大賽，2019年獲得義大利巴列塔 (Città di Barletta) 國際青年鋼琴大賽第一獎。2020年受邀參與克羅埃西亞 ”Piano Loop Festival” 音樂節活動，於開幕音樂會擔綱獨奏演出。
2022年返台於臺北國家演奏廳舉辦「舞、樂」(Tanz & Musik) 鋼琴獨奏會。2022-2023年兩度於德國柏林「樂器博物館」舉辦獨奏音樂會 ”Jour Fixe”，並於2023年得到瑞士盧加諾(Lugano) 第四屆國際鋼琴比賽第一獎。2023年再度返台舉辦三場音樂會「狂、想」(La Folia)，分別於宜蘭演藝廳、台北巴赫廳及臺北國家演奏廳。
Yu-Yin Lin wurde in Taipeh, Taiwan geboren. Sie absolvierte "Konzertexamen - Klavier"an der "Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg", studiert bei Professor Jochen Köhler. Sie hat den Master im Fach Klavier bei Professor Clemens Rave an der Musikhochschule Münster studiert. In den vergangenen Jahren ist sie in Taiwan und Europa mehrfach in Recitals und mit verschiedenen Kammermusik-Ensembles aufgetreten. 2012 arbeitete sie als Solistin zusammen mit der “National Defense Military Band Taiwan” in George Gershwins "Rhapsody in Blue“.
Yu-Yin Lin wurde aufgrund hervorragender Studienergebnisse und dem Gewinn eines dafür ausgeschriebenen Wettbewerbs vom Bildungsministerium Taiwans ein Auslandsstipendium für einen Zeitraum von vier Jahren zuerkannt.
In der 29. Young Musician International Competition "Città di Barletta" in Italien erspielte sich die Pianistin Yu-Yin Lin den ersten Preis. Im Jahr 2022 trat sie mit einem Klavierrezital mit dem Thema 'Tanz & Musik' in der National Recital Hall in Taipei, Taiwan auf. In den Jahren 2022 und 2023 trat sie zweimal mit Klavierrezitals im Musikinstrumenten-Museum Berlin auf. 2023 erhielt sie beim "4th Swiss Piano Competition Lugano" den ersten Preis. Im Jahr 2023 trat sie dreimal mit Klavierrezitals unter dem Titel 'La Folia' in Yi-Lan, Taiwan, sowie erneut in der Taipei Bach Recital Hall und der National Recital Hall in Taipei auf.
Yu-Yin Lin was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She is a multi-talented musician and proficient in piano playing, piano collaboration, music theory, music history, and singing in chorus. She obtained the Konzertexamen degree (equivalent to a Ph.D. certified by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan) from Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in 2023 in Germany, studying with Prof. Jochen Köhler.
Throughout her time studying in Taiwan, Yu-Yin Lin completed her Master's degree in Musicology at the National Taipei University of the Arts. In 2012, she collaborated with the National Defense Military Band Taiwan and performed the piano solo part of George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" Concerto for Wind Orchestra and held her debut solo concert at the Taipei Bach Recital Hall in the same year. In 2014, she staged her first ticketed solo concert at the Taipei Forum Music Auditorium.
At the end of 2014, she was awarded a full scholarship by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan for instrumental music performance, and in 2015, she went to Musikhochschule Münster in Germany to pursue a Master's degree in piano performance with Prof. Clemens Rave. She graduated with the highest distinction "sehr gut" at her Master's graduation concert.
During her time in Germany, she participated in numerous solo performances, piano collaborations, and international competitions. In 2019, she won the first prize at the Città di Barletta International Youth Piano Competition in Italy. In 2020, she was invited to participate in the "Piano Loop Festival" in Croatia, where she performed a solo recital at the opening concert.
In 2022, she held a piano solo concert titled "Tanz & Musik" at the National Recital Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2022 and 2023, she performed "Jour Fixe" solo concerts twice at the "Instrument Museum" in Berlin, Germany. In 2023, she won the first prize at the fourth Lugano International Piano Competition in Lugano, Switzerland. In December in 2023, she held three piano solo concerts titled “La Folia" in Taiwan, at Yi-lan Concert Hall and again at the Taipei Bach Recital Hall and National Recital Hall in Taipei.
